This notice explains how MKSM Digital Ltd collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us about trade supply.

Who we are

MKSM Digital Ltd is the controller of your personal information. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15869996, with our registered office at 48 Staveley Road, Leicester, LE5 5JT, United Kingdom.

What we collect

This website has no contact forms, accounts or tracking. We collect personal information only when you email us or do business with us. This may include:

• your name, job title and the business you work for;
• your email address, phone number and business address;
• the details of your enquiry, orders, invoices and payments;
• delivery details for goods we supply.

How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and quote prices. We do this because you have asked us to, before entering into a contract with you.
• To supply goods, invoice and take payment. This is necessary to perform our contract with your business.
• To keep business and tax records. We are legally required to keep accounting and VAT records.
• To keep in touch with existing trade customers about stock and orders. We do this in our legitimate interest in running our business. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to run our business, with:

• our email and website hosting providers;
• couriers and delivery companies, to deliver your order;
• our bank, payment providers and accountants;
• HMRC and other authorities where the law requires it.

Website fonts

This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google may process this outside the UK. We do not receive this information. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles it.

This website does not set cookies or use analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to an order for up to 12 months. We keep records of orders, invoices and payments for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes. After that, we delete them securely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information, or to limit how we use it;
• object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests;
• ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
